What it is
A live calendar built into your website that shows your real availability and lets a customer pick a slot, confirm, and get a reminder — all on their own. It connects to your schedule so there is no double-booking, and the appointment drops straight into your CRM. No back-and-forth phone tag, no "what times work for you," no third-party scheduling site the customer has to bounce out to.
Why it matters
More than half of the people looking for a local service are doing it after hours, when no one is answering the phone. If their only option is to call you back tomorrow, a good share of them call the next company on the list instead — the business that books the job is usually the one that was available the moment the customer was ready. A booking engine captures that intent at 11pm on a Sunday, when a missed call would simply be a lost customer. It also removes the friction of the phone for the growing number of people who would rather book a slot in thirty seconds than talk to anyone, and it cuts the staff time your team spends playing scheduler.
How we install it
The booking engine is a core Foundation surface capability, surfaced on every page — the hero, the service pages, and every landing page get a "book now" path. We set it up during the Activate phase of the 5A protocol, connected to your CRM so each booking triggers a confirmation, a reminder sequence, and a record you can track to its source. It pairs directly with appointment reminders to keep no-shows down once the slots fill.
What it costs
The booking engine is included from the Foundation tier up — calendars, confirmations, and reminders are part of the system, not an add-on. See the ladder for the full breakdown.
